even though the colors of fall have been long gone from the vecinities of the greater seattle area, some of this can still be seen several degrees latitude to the south. i just enjoy reflecting to these and as the year winds down i like to see it as an opportunity to shake down the old vibes and take a new breath for new energies.

110109upon arrival to the vashon ferry terminal, we were all asked to get back into our respective vehicles and prepare for debarkation. as the ferry boat approaches the platform, the ship’s thrusters pull back in reverse for a steady full stop. as the water stirs into mixture of elements: bubbles, sand and other particles we are able to appreciate a mixture of the main element as a whole, in different textures, shapes, colors and expressions.

103009a truly inspiring natural monument gifted to all the seatelites and nearby residents. breathtaking: the moment i came out to the outer deck of the seattle space needle, facing directly towards the pacific sunset. as i went around the deck i almost felt as if the purpose of the direct lighting was not only meant for the city but the monumental rock mt. rainier.

with the fall just coming around the corner, i just want to put some color and introduce the feeling into the site. farm fresh produce never fails to energize. and in this case, i can only see these high pigment roots drip in juice as they are cut, rich in vitamins and nutrients. beets are known to be very good for blood pressure and digestion, and additionally scientists consider these to be an aphrodesiac and are currently researching other uses for cancer treatment.

seattle waterfrontseattle is another one of those progressive, fast paced, “big”, “small” cities. home to starbucks, microsoft, boeing, amongst many other corporations, it is said that it is where the money is, according to some article i read recently.. not first, but high up in the ranking. besides all this, it’s just a very pleasant city. rainy too, even though it never got me.

727i simply can’t seem to get over how the time factor is consuming us. there is just no time to take a breath for it before it just flies away on us. this is a photo of the first boeing 727 in service back in 1963, with a record as the most produced jet airliner in the world. with many groundbreaking new features and innovations marks we look back upon this now trashy relic and forget its glory days. this photo was taken in the boeing “future of flight” aviation center and museum scrapyard in everett, washington – october 2007.
again, this post marks another week (2).
