quite fascinating is the view from the seattle space needle. to think that this structure was only meant to be temporary, i remain thankful that it still stands. allowing me to see it from postcards and other photos is one thing, yet having been able to stand on its deck, admiring a beautiful sunset alongside the urban core of seattle and its remarkably breathtaking surroundings is simply memorable.

feel the air, the cold, the turbulent winds that mess up your hair, your facial expressions, blowing you upwards in different directions with currents of pressure as gravity pulls you back to earth. look out, into that loud and lonely silence of winds and observe. collect this information, enjoy it and treasure it.

look around, always. thre is often more than one way to look behind without actually turning your head. look back, not literally, just maybe though.. and think, about you, about life, what’s happened, what’s happening, and what will happen. what do you want to change? what makes you stand out? what’s so good about it? wait, does it even matter?
happy birthday m paola.

this is where i stand: the world. we cross limits and frontiers by sharing our thoughts and knowledge in every different cultural setting. we are all citizens of the globe and are entitled to catch up with it. with progress comes evolution, and this change inevitably creates new experiences as old ones are substituted. we are in an eternal race trying to catch up with the world, its civilizations, its people, and its natural wonders.

even though the colors of fall have been long gone from the vecinities of the greater seattle area, some of this can still be seen several degrees latitude to the south. i just enjoy reflecting to these and as the year winds down i like to see it as an opportunity to shake down the old vibes and take a new breath for new energies.

happy birthday caro!
