Traced back thorugh its remains from around three thousand years ago, it has now travelled its way through europe, asia, africa, to latin america and the caribbean. throughout the years it has been considered a tonic for the heart and throat, and as an external agent it is also known to be good for your skin and to stop bleeding.

this tropical orange fruit of bittersweet tastes hides within these large leafs. some sort of a shield, containing some kind of sticky or slimy pigments to confuse you (at least the first few times). are we meant to be eating this? somehow, i just think that such battiers might be a design to keep the fruit from being eaten?
